The Flo by Moen Smart Water Detector can be purchased as a stand-alone product or in conjunction with the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff to fully protect your home from catastrophic damage. The detector is an ideal, low-cost solution for use most anywhere moisture could be a problem.
When water, excess humidity, or extreme temperatures are detected, the unit sends an alert via the Flo by Moen app, sounds an audible alarm, or emits a blinking LED light. If homeowners also have the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff, a leak sensed by the Smart Water Detector can automatically trigger the shutoff feature to protect the home from costly water damage. The battery-powered unit comes with an optional extension cable with a sensing disk at the end that can extend up to 48 inches, making it perfect for reaching tight spaces.

Wi-Fi Enabled: Just like the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff, the Smart Water Detector is Wi-Fi enabled and not dependent. This means the product needs Wi-Fi to communicate remotely to a mobile device but does not need Wi-Fi for basic functionality. If Wi-Fi is down, or the Detector is not connected to Wi-Fi it will still sound an audible alert, and LED will flash red if any moisture is detected.
